My very first AKB48 concert in Singapore

23:32

Much thanks to Clare for helping me get the tickets for this concert while I'm still in Japan!

I really must thank her this time, coz the concert was really cool and very different from Arashi's concert. But still, I'm a 100% fan of Arashi. Haven't change to AKB48 totally yet.

Maybe its a small concert, so its still possible to do some those fanservice.

I met Clare at Suntec Convention Centre about 4 plus, when she was queueing up. I also heard that there were people who came as early as 7am just to get the first few rows of seats, as it was free standing. I'm not so mad to go that early.

Reached there, and queued up for nearly 2 hours before we were able to go in.
Before that, I also got to know a few friends thru Clare. Got to know Eddy and Sora. Quite interesting. Somehow, there is a big difference about Arashi and AKB48 fans. There were Indonesian and Japanese fans who flew over to Singapore to watch this concert. It was a short one, which lasted about an hour plus. The fans even made their own FC t-shirt. Not only that, the fans also traded photos and cards, which made it more interesting. For Arashi fans, we only sell and rarely trade unless necessary. Also, for the photos, we could just buy them off at Johnny's shop. But for AKB48, theirs is more like a random selection pack. You can't get to choose which photo you want. If you didn't get what you wanted, you can trade it off or sell it off with other fans.

After we are admitted into the theater, we're given a postcard. I thought it was something like a gift, but there is something behind about this postcard, which I find it totally interesting!
Concert was pretty fun, except that I wasn't used to the Akihabara type of concert. Am more of a Arashi-fan only concert-goer. There were loads of 'chants' that the guys used, and I know nothing about it even though Clare had let me saw her slip of paper that she has. The song selections are as follow: (may not be in order)
-RIVER
-Beginner
-Ponytail no Shu Shu
-3 member songs which I don't know.
-Aitakatta [in English]
-Oogoe no Diamond [in English]
-Heavy Rotation
-Chance no Junban [Encore]

After it ended, the girls also did a mini-game with the fans which they used during their senbatsu, which is the Jankenpon.
So this is the part, where the postcards come to use!
At the back of the card, there is one stripe which shows paper, stone or scissors. And the person to play with is Uchida Mayumi a.k.a Mayuchi.
She gave a scissors and those fans who were holding the postcard with the stone sign, gets to win a poster signed by one of the girls. Its a random mix though. They even have a hi-five touch session too, which made Clare a super happy fan girl.

During that session, I thanked them for a wonderful mini-concert they have put up and I really enjoyed myself.
After the concert, a 'small' barter trading started. Some fans didn't get the poster they wanted [as in the signatures], and started to do barter trading.
Then Clare told me that the girls were be leaving soon and asked me if I wanted to join them and send them off. I was pretty okie with it and said okie. It was a pretty long wait till the girls came out and there were some info miscommunication too. On the way to see the girls off, I saw a very cute dog, which caught my attention!

Isn't this dog cute? I took a few photos of it, before joining my friend.
I even have a video of the girls leaving in the bus. Shall upload it when I'm free.

Okie, thats about it for the concert.
Here's a picture of my loots from the concert!

My ticket stub!

Postcard from the concert!

Btw, I'm going to change my hair color to dark brown, because of Maeda Atsuko aka Acchan and Watanabe Mayu aka Mayuyu. I think I should say bye bye to my light hair color asap!!!
