new hair color!
15:40I didn't make any post regarding my hair color.
It has turn from dark brown to light brown!
Yay!
I went to color it last Friday right after work.
I told the aunty to bleach it for me, but she didn't really recommend bleaching coz it will not be good for my hair, but I decided to continue on with the bleach in order to achieve the milk tea brown color which I have been wanting to get for a long time!
The bleaching process lasted about 15 mins or so, and it became like this:
Very light right? Thats because previously when I did my partially brown hair, it already contains some bleach in it, thus this time, when I bleached it again, the color is much more lighter than expected.
After that, I continued to put on the color that I wanted, which the Aunty had mixed it for me. It was more of a golden milk brown due to the bleach. Ended up doing it for about 30 mins, before washing my hair and I got this result:
It looks pretty bright under the light. My parents and brothers were shocked to see me with this hair color. My mum totally disagrees with it, coz I didn't look Asian to her. Even my classmate was shocked to see me with this hair color. I even had to wear a cap (which I borrow from my 2nd brother) to cover up the top part, as it was pretty bright.
After my lesson on Sunday, I went back immediately to the salon to do a recolor on the roots, coz it was too bright and I was afraid that my company won't allow it.
This time, it took nearly an hour to complete, to allow the color to settle in and I finally achieve the milk tea brown color! It made me really happy!
I didn't have the actual picture from the salon, but much thanks to my friend who helped me take a picture while having dinner with her @ Chilli Padi!
Currently, my hair is a little dry, and am using hair conditioner and L'oreal Oil to maintain my hair healthy!
So its best to think twice if you want to bleach your hair to get a light color!
Enjoy!
