1st outing with Audrey and Yuki!

22:25

I know I'm super late in posting this, but am really busy with work plus, currently am taking up tuition assignments to earn some money before going back to school.
Anyway, back to the main topic.

Had met Yuki, who came over to Singapore to travel for about 3 weeks.
Met him over japan-guide forum, and offered to bring him around Singapore with my super limited knowledge on Singapore.
Had also invited Audrey to join me, as I doubt I could handle it by myself.

Met them @ Vivocity, since it was near my office area, plus the night scenery is still so-so.
We had dinner @ The King Louis, which my colleague had recommended it to me before!
The food there was simply awesome, but a little ex though. I seriously recommend people to go there is groups of more than 3, course the 3 of us couldn't finish it!
I'm going to go there in another 2 weeks time for a colleague's farewell dinner, so will do a proper write up on 'The King Louis'

I seriously need to apologise for the quality of pictures taken with my iPhone. I didn't had my camera with me.
Starters was the potato salad, which is really yummy!

We also ordered beer to go with since they were having a promotion of buying 2 half pint / pint and getting 1 for free, which was really reasonable. We decided to go for Hoegaarden, as recommended by their waitress there.

It was my first time drinking such a big cup of beer, I couldn't finish it. I drank Asahi before, but it was still so-so when it was chilled. Maybe I'm not a person who really likes alcoholic stuff.
We ordered the Knights banquet with meat and seafood.
It was really alot.
We really couldn't finish it, even it was a meal for 2!

It was really an enjoybale night! Had fun talking to Yuki and Audrey!
Here's a picture of Yuki with the glorious food!

We chatted till nearly 9 plus before we went down to Marina Bay Sands. We had wanted to head over to Mount Faber to see the scenery, but thinking that we might not be able to get a cab down to the station, we decided to head over to Marina Bay Sands!

By the time we reached there, there was alot of people dressed in formal! Was super shocked! Actually, it was the opening for Marina Bay Sands. Seriously don't know about it. Plus the women there were all wearing glittery dresses and men were dressed in tuxedos! So cool! We managed to walk from Marina Bay Sands down to the Merlion!

Yuki @ the Marina Bay Sands!

We went inside, but not into the Casino! Too expensive for Singaporeans to just 'visit' the Casino!

We also went to see the Helix Bridge! It was really pretty!!

Managed to take a group picture @ the Helix Bridge with the view of Merlion behind (Can't really see it well as it was taken with my iPhone)

The night view is really nice right? I think so too!!

After that, we passed by Esplanade and then went over to see the Merlion @ night!
It was really nice. But by the time we reached there, the Merlion wasn't spurting anymore water from its mouth! >.<

It was really a fun night hanging out with them!!

Will update the next outing to Newton Circus and Indochine soon!
Do check it out soon!!
